Year 7 Teacher, 0.2FTTE part-time, fixed term

The position is fixed-term to provide classroom cover while an existing teacher is released to undertake additional school-wide responsibilities in Term 4, 2026 Cornerstone Christian School is seeking a passionate, skilled, and adaptable New Zealand Teaching Council Fully Registered teacher to join our team in a fixed term, part-time position (0.2 FTTE) in a Year 7 class. This position will suit a teacher who enjoys working in a close-knit team, values strong relationships, and enjoys contributing to the school’s special character. We are looking for a teacher who: works collaboratively within a team builds respectful, positive relationships with students, staff, whānau, and community has strong curriculum delivery skills and assessment knowledge relevant to the age level is flexible, organised, and adaptable. Terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Area School Teachers' Collective Agreement – Education in New Zealand (ASTCA). Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. A willingness and ability to uphold the special character of the school, and a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school, shall be a condition of appointment.
