Teacher - Term 4

Lee Stream School is looking for a fabulous teacher to join our small but mighty team for Term 4, 2026. We are a rural full primary school with just 12 awesome kids from New Entrant to Year 6, all learning together in one classroom. This is a 0.1 FTTE fixed-term position supporting a short-term project focused on strengthening teaching capability within our unique multi-level setting and providing additional principal release. The position will ideally be worked one morning per week, either Monday or Friday, with flexibility to negotiate which day best suits the successful applicant and the school. Team teaching is a big part of how we work at Lee Stream. The successful applicant will have opportunities to work alongside our teaching principal in the classroom, getting to know our learners, programmes and routines, as well as taking responsibility for the class independently when providing principal release. We are looking for someone who builds great relationships with tamariki, is confident working across a range of year levels, enjoys working collaboratively and is happy to embrace all that comes with being part of a small rural school. Experience with structured literacy and multi-level teaching would be an advantage.
