Qualified Kaiako

Teaching is different when relationships come first! If you believe children deserve time, space, nature and teachers who truly know them, you might have found your place. Strawberry Garden is a small, homely centre nestled in the semi-rural community of Bay View, a short 10min drive from city centre. Step through our gate and you'll find something a little different; real grass, establish tress and gardens, beautiful indoor spaces and plenty of room for tamariki to explore, create, get muddy and simply play. Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, known and deeply connected to the people and place around them. Our days are intentionally unhurried, with meaningful rituals and a curriculum shaped by play, nature, curiosity and wonder. We are looking for a qualified and registered kaiako to join us four days a week.
