Sacred Heart College Napier is a state-integrated Catholic Secondary School for Years 9-13 girls, located in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay. We seek an inspirational curriculum leader to lead Religious Education across Years 9-13. This newly configured role provides dedicated leadership of curriculum, assessment, teaching and learning within Religious Education and reflects our commitment to providing excellence in Catholic education. The successful applicant will: Have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and Catholic education. Lead the development and implementation of Tō Tātau Whakapono Our Faith. Lead curriculum innovation and implementation of curriculum changes. Contribute to the wider curriculum leadership of the College. Manage assessment, moderation and achievement monitoring. Provide professional leadership and mentoring for department staff. Work collaboratively with the Director of Special Character to strengthen the Catholic mission of the school. This is a special character position which means a willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
