Teacher in Charge - Agriculture

We are seeking a teacher in charge - agriculture. This position could suit a first-year teacher and accommodation may also be available. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing Term 1, 2027. This is an incredibly unique opportunity. At Waitaki Boys’ we offer a comprehensive agriculture curriculum from Years 9 to 13. This includes both practical and agricultural science in the senior school. We also have a 40-acre working sheep farm called Fraser Farm, which is run by old boys to support our agriculture curriculum. Along with this, a new purpose-built agriculture classroom is operational. The school works very closely with local agricultural businesses and support groups. The successful applicant must be a NZ registered teacher who is able to endorse the school’s academic focus and be involved in the strong co-curricular programmes the school offers.
