Key requirements We welcome applications from NZ trained and registered teachers who demonstrate: Curriculum knowledge: Sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum . Relationships and expectations: Positive behavioural expectations and the ability to build strong, learner-focused relationships. Literacy and maths: Experience with structured literacy and the updated mathematics curriculum (an advantage). Inclusive practice: Ability to cater for learners with special needs and English Language Learners (ELL) through inclusive practices. Te Ao Maaori and Reo: Commitment to weaving te reo Maaori into daily practice, as well as delivering formal reo instruction.
