About the role
Our college is a thriving, culturally diverse successful secondary school with a largely māori and pasifika student population. We enjoy modern learning facilities in whānau based houses, above the Porirua basin. We have developed an innovative curriculum to engage our learners to grow their voice, action and identity – our Porirua East graduate profile. We have a proud history of restorative practice with strong, positive relationships throughout the school. We require a permanent full-time Kapa Haka and Te reo Māori Teacher to join our team from Term 1, 2027. Applicants will need a strong background in Kapa Haka leadership and fluency in Te reo Māori.
