About the role
We seek an experienced educator and leader to step into the role of Leader of Learning – Learning Support. You will teach a Learning Support class while leading teachers within our learning support classes and our Learning Support Coordinators (LSCs). Key responsibilities Teach a dedicated Learning Support class across all curriculum areas. Lead, mentor, and support teachers in learning support classes and school LSCs. Design and implement scaffolded learning strategies, with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. Foster inclusive, culturally responsive and strength-based learning environments across the department. Requirements Proven experience teaching and scaffolding learning for students with additional literacy and numeracy needs. Demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills. Strong understanding of neurodiverse learners. This position starts in Term 1, 2027.
