New Entrant Teacher

We are seeking a motivated kaiako to play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where our aakonga can reach their full potential. Key requirements We welcome applications from NZ trained and registered teachers who demonstrate an understanding of transition from Early Childhood to kura. Relationships and expectations: Positive behavioural expectations and the ability to build strong, learner-focused relationships. Literacy and maths: Experience with structured literacy and the updated mathematics curriculum (an advantage). Inclusive practice: Ability to cater for learners with special needs and English Language Learners (ELL) through inclusive practices. Te Ao Maaori and Reo: Commitment to weaving te reo Maaori into daily practice, as well as delivering formal reo instruction.
