About the role
Commencing Term 1, 2027 Our vibrant, values-based school is seeking two high-quality practitioners to join our team in permanent, full-time capacities starting at the beginning of Term 1, 2027: Position 1: Junior Syndicate (Year 1–2) Position 2: Senior Syndicate (Year 4–6) Located in the heart of a supportive and engaged community, our school is a whānau rooted in core values that guide both our staff and ākonga. You will be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking team that genuinely enjoys the professional camaraderie of a close-knit staffroom. We are looking for educators who understand the unique developmental stages of primary students—whether nurturing foundational learning in our junior space or encouraging independence and curiosity in our senior years. As full-time staff members, you will fully immerse yourselves in our school culture, supporting the pastoral care and academic growth of your students while contributing your unique strengths to our wider school programmes. We are specifically seeking New Zealand trained and registered teachers with a deep understanding of our local educational landscape. Ideal candidates will demonstrate fluency in The New Zealand Curriculum , particularly in tailoring literacy and numeracy to meet diverse learning needs. You will hold a genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, integrating te reo Māori and tikanga naturally into your daily practice, alongside a Kiwi knack for flexibility and resourcefulness.
