About the role
Commence 28 January 2027 We require an enthusiastic innovative teacher to join our physical education and health learning area. You will have the ability to teach PE and health to all year levels (9-13) and will be working in a well-supported environment. Our physical education and health learning area is an innovative team of educators with a wide range of skills and experience across physical education, outdoor education, and health. We take pride in working collaboratively and creating a team environment. We are seeking a teacher who is committed to high-impact teaching practices that maximise learner progress and engagement. We pride ourselves on strong collaboration—regularly sharing resources, ideas, and best practices to ensure consistency and high-quality teaching across all levels. WEGC is a central city multicultural school with an established reputation for student engagement, innovation and success. The applicant will have familiarity with the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA Assessment. They will be committed to supporting the implementation of the maths curriculum.
