Registered ECE Teacher / Montessori Teacher (Leadership Opportunity)

Wairarapa Montessori Preschool are seeking a passionate, registered early childhood/Montessori teacher with strong leadership qualities to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about Montessori education, committed to high-quality learning outcomes, and eager to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our preschool. We are a family-owned Montessori preschool with a licensed roll of just over 30 children. Our centre offers a warm, supportive environment, beautiful natural outdoor spaces, and a close-knit team that values relationships, collaboration, and excellence in early childhood education. About the role We are looking for a qualified teacher who: Holds a recognised early childhood education qualification and current teacher registration. Has a genuine passion for working with young children and providing high-quality education and care. Demonstrates excellent classroom management and leadership skills. Has strong communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively within a team. Is calm, positive, professional, and proactive. Is passionate about the Montessori philosophy and child-led learning. Is eager to contribute to our centre culture and children's wellbeing. A Montessori qualification is preferred but not essential. We are happy to provide Montessori training and, for the right candidate, support towards obtaining a Montessori qualification.
