Experienced Year 7-8 Teacher

King’s School is seeking an outstanding and experienced Year 7–8 teacher to join our collaborative and highly professional senior school team. About the role The successful applicant will: Deliver high-quality, engaging and appropriately challenging teaching for Year 7–8 students. Understand the academic, social and developmental needs of students aged 11–13. Promote and uphold standards of excellence in achievement, behaviour, independence and personal responsibility. Use research-informed teaching, assessment and feedback/feedforward practices to promote strong learning progress. Build positive and respectful relationships with students and maintain open, constructive communication with their families. Contribute actively to the pastoral, co-curricular and wider life of the School. We are looking for someone who: Is an experienced and highly capable Year 7–8 teacher with a strong understanding of curriculum and effective pedagogy. Demonstrates excellence in classroom practice and brings energy, sound judgement and high professional standards to their teaching.
