Teaching position: senior school (Year 7 - 8 class). Commencing 28th January 2027 and ending on the final school day of 2027. Are you a highly creative teacher who has excellent relationship skills and the ability to motivate and inspire our learners? Norfolk School is seeking a teacher for one year of maternity leave cover. As part of our senior team, you will work closely with colleagues to develop innovative learning programmes in an energetic, collaborative and supportive environment. Our Board of Trustees feel that strengths in literacy and numeracy are essential. We are looking for an applicant with a strong understanding and experience of phonemic awareness and senior literacy programmes. Strength in Te Reo Māori is also an advantage. Effective communication and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, whānau and the wider community is essential. Our staff would like a friendly and happy professional who fits into our Norfolk School culture. You will be collaborative, flexible and keen to learn with us.
