Mathematics Teacher

Mairehau High School is an innovative and whānau orientated school. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified and passionate teacher of mathematics. Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and ākonga across the school. They must be a NZ registered teacher and will be expected to participate and contribute to the school's vision. Commitment to our school's unique character and co-curricular life is also a condition of employment. Familiarity with the NZ Curriculum and the ability to teach mathematics to NCEA senior levels is a requirement. Our focus is on ākonga success through high expectations and culturally responsive practice. We are a PB4L and a restorative school. The position commences Term 1, 2027.
