Cambridge High School (CHS) is a co-educational school, established in 1883, with a roll of approximately 1,800 students. Cambridge High School serves the interests of the community incredibly well, meeting the varied academic, trades, cultural and sporting needs of our students. Places at CHS are highly sought after with families choosing to move into town to gain access to the school. An opportunity exists commencing 28 January 2027 for an enthusiastic and innovative technology teacher with expertise in hard materials. The ideal candidate will be confident delivering both unit and achievement standards, with the ability to teach students from Year 9 through to senior levels. The technology faculty at Cambridge High School is forward-thinking, supportive, and collegial. We operate from a well-resourced, modern facility that fosters creativity and collaboration. Student interest in studying subjects within the technology faculty is very strong. As a result, there is growth within the faculty and we are particularly interested in applications from candidates with additional areas of expertise. Please state this on application. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62,862 to $105,686, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience.
