Year 9 Teachers, 2 positions

Mount Aspiring College is a year 7-13 school in Wanaka. We are a community school supporting students to achieve excellent results. We are looking for 2 teachers of social sciences, science, English and mathematics to teach in our year 9 team, full time and part time permanent positions available. Teachers of senior curriculum subjects can apply - please state your senior subject area of expertise. These positions are suitable for primary or secondary trained teachers, and suitable for beginning teachers. Please state your other interests and teaching subjects. The successful candidate will demonstrate: A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum across English, Maths, Science and Social Sciences Enthusiasm for contributing to and developing their subject area The ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive education practices Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
