Pakūranga College is a large (2,200+ students), coeducational, culturally diverse secondary school located in Pakuranga, East Auckland. Pakūranga College has an extensive Arts programme with a high performing and well-established Arts faculty. We are seeking a Head of Art to lead our Art department and contribute to our successful Art programme, including painting, photography, design and art history. The successful candidate will be an aspiring leader and teacher, with sound curriculum knowledge and a forward-thinking approach. The successful candidate will demonstrate: A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum in the Arts and Art. Willingness to work and lead collaboratively within a team environment. The ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners. Be willing to embrace our digital learning environment and to contribute to the active co-curricular life of the school.
