About the role As a Relieving Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced teaching team and contribute to a safe, nurturing, inclusive and play-based learning environment. You will help support our tamariki to learn, explore, build relationships and develop confidence through meaningful experiences. We’re looking for people who Have a genuine passion for working with young children. Are caring, patient, enthusiastic and approachable. Build positive relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues. Enjoy play-based learning and encouraging children's curiosity and creativity. Respect and embrace multicultural and culturally responsive practice. Have strong communication and teamwork skills. Are reliable, flexible and willing to step in when our team needs additional support. Are committed to learning and developing their ECE knowledge and skills. Qualified ECE teachers with a current practising certificate are encouraged to apply. Unqualified applicants with a genuine passion for ECE and relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
