Position starts Term 1, 2027 Karori Normal School is a vibrant, high-performing full primary school located in Wellington’s western suburbs. We are seeking 3 passionate, forward-thinking, and collaborative Scale A kaiako to join our team across various year levels. Key requirements and selection criteria Curriculum knowledge: Strong familiarity with the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum. Collaborative practice: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, sharing expertise and co-constructing engaging learning experiences for all tamariki. Normal School engagement: Enthusiasm for supporting student teachers and hosting kaiako tauira, contributing positively to professional learning and mentoring, and being open to learning and coaching. Culturally responsive: Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, integrating te reo and tikanga Māori naturally into classroom culture.
