Assistant Head of Technology

We require a passionate, engaging and energetic teacher to assist in leading our Technology learning area, commencing 28 January 2027 (1MU and 1MMA), with a responsibility for Digital Technology. This outstanding classroom teacher will have good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills and be passionate about helping students learn. Experience with NCEA an advantage. Please advise specialist subjects (preferably Digital Technology). This position has also been advertised under the 'Auckland' region. For overseas applicants, you are required to have a 3-year specialist degree at Level 7 with a 1-year teacher training Level 7 qualification. It is an advantage to have New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council. You must have a least 5 years’ experience in the classroom. Your conditions of work and salary are based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement 2002-2025. The salary range is from $70,779 ($34.02/hr) to $103086 ($49.56/hr).
