Scale A Year 7 and 8 Teacher

Kia ora, Talofa, Malo e lelei, Namaste, Gidday! We are looking for an awesome kaiako to join our school whānau for 2027! At Ōtāhuhu Intermediate, we pride ourselves on a caring and supportive whānau atmosphere. Walk through our gates and you’ll find a warm, beautiful and welcoming school environment where we are on an inspiring journey together—developing confident kids who are encouraged to be authentically themselves. We believe that to foster true confidence in our tamariki, we need kaiako who prioritise genuine connections and positive relationships, while bringing their own authentic, unique self to work every day, too! You’ll be joining a supportive staff who are excited to welcome new faces to help create unforgettable moments for our kids right here in the heart of Ōtāhuhu. We run our school a little differently than others, utilising a specialist timetable that supports our students to be successful beyond our school gates, and supports our teachers to concentrate on being the best they can be! Let us know if you have any special strengths you could bring to our school. Renumeration and/or release could be available for the right person. Our school values of respect, personal responsibility, and passion sit alongside our school vision of excellence for all, underpinning everything we do. Our kids and staff deserve to have great people around them at school. So, if you are looking for the right fit for 2027, we’d love to hear from you.
