About the role
We are seeking an energetic, passionate teacher who will actively contribute to our fantastic rural school. The position will be within the Year 4 to Year 7 age group. This is a partly-board funded position, to enable smaller class sizes for 2027. You will work closely in a team of 4 and a "school" team of 8 full-time teachers. Strengths in Numicon, Restorative Practices, and Structured Literacy are desired. We are looking for someone who is driven to achieve the best outcomes for tamariki from a holistic perspective - academically, socially and emotionally. A sense of humour, proactive teaching approach and a willingness to work within a collaborative learning environment is essential, along with a desire to make a real difference. An ability to develop and maintain relationships with whānau, other staff and external support agencies is imperative.
