Year 3-6 Classroom Teacher

Te Raekura Redcliffs School is seeking a highly motivated teacher to join our team. Our stunning kura overlooks Te Ihutai | Avon-Heathcote Estuary and is located on a culturally significant site that grounds us and inspires our vision around local curriculum and living our school values. We are looking for a teacher | kaiako who: Creates a positive, inclusive classroom culture and environment where all learners feel supported and inspired. Has strong curriculum knowledge. Brings creativity, a sense of humour and a problem-solving approach to challenges. Understands the importance of supporting emotional regulation as a key part of learning, and works proactively to help young people develop these skills. Nurtures wellbeing while fostering curiosity, collaboration, and joy in learning. Has skill in using and developing digital fluencies with their students. Demonstrates a commitment to Te Reo and Tikanga Māori and seeks to be more culturally responsive within their own practice. Contribute positively to the wider life of highly engaged school community.
