NE/Year 1 Teacher

Kirwee Model School seeks an inspirational, student-centred teacher to join our collaborative team in 2026. Curriculum Expertise: Proven ability to deliver structured literacy and the CPA model for mathematics using explicit instruction. Experience teaching in NE: Deep understanding of the developmental needs of 5 year olds and experience in learning through play. Data driven: Skilled in using diagnostic data to notice, recognise, and respond, creating personalised learning plans and reporting accurately on progress. Cultural & social focus: Committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the Te Whare Mauri Ora hauora framework, and school-wide PB4L and restorative practice.
