Blomfield Special School is looking for a dedicated teacher to join our collaborative team. About us: We serve students aged 5-21 and are dedicated to enhancing student achievement. We have a central campus and satellite units in Whangarei, and remote sites in Kaitaia, Oromahoe, and Kawakawa, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for both students and staff. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Primary Teachers’ Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62 862 to $105 686, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. Position is 2 days at Oromahoe School and 2 days at Bay of Islands College (Mid North). The ideal applicant will have: Recent, New Zealand teaching experience Special education teaching experience or ECE teaching experience An ability to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines Strong written and oral communications skills Effective team leadership, and parent/caregiver interaction skills Flexibility, a sense of humour, and strong organisational skills Help us create an inclusive and empowering learning environment for our exceptional students.
