Year 5 Classroom Teacher

Belmont School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team from term 1 2027, teaching in a Year 5 Class. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to making a difference for children. About the role As a Year 5 teacher, you will join Te Moana, a team of 4 Year 5 and 6 teachers. You will work closely with colleagues to: develop high-quality teaching practice that reflects the New Zealand Curriculum, with a strong focus on structured literacy and mathematics (PR1ME) contribute to the design and delivery of meaningful learning opportunities support the wellbeing and success of all learners through inclusive practices. You will be supported with consistent and regular classroom release time, half a day per week.
